1. VOCATIONAL EDUCATION

This program is designed to increase employability and enterpreneurship skills of refugees in Kakuma who want a source of reliable income. We train youths and wemen of all genders within the camp. These courses improve the skill set of refugees, eradicating the existing hindrances to gainful employment and entrepreneurship.

Child psychosocial intervention/ support

The organization deliver Spychosocial intervention, games, Art work and entertainments and remidial classes to age 4 to 5 children after their formal education, for their wellbeing and better future life.


Soap making

Soap and Beauty products manufacturing aimed to provide participants with the basic knowledge, skills and techniques required to build a home-based business. 

      

Hair dressing

Hairdressing training will provide the students with the opportunity to develop their skills in cutting, styling and coloring hair of different types and lengths aimed at improving their living stand and income generation.

               

Information Computer Technology and digital skills 

The activity aim to reduce the digital literacy and gender gap by providing essential concepts and practical skills necessary to navigate and utilize digital tools effectively.

2. LIVELIHOOD FOR RESILIENCE

LSBF livelihood program aims contribute to food security, prevent dependency, reduce vulnerability, enhance self-reliance and develop or build a set of specific skills in (Permaculture, microenterprise, lending and money saving activities) as well as increase psychosocial protection and human rights awareness among the displaced peoples.


Permaculture and Farming

Permanent Agriculture aim create systems that are ecologically sound and economically viable that provide for their own needs and do not exploit or pollute, and are therefore sustainable in the long term. 


Business coaching training

This activity aim to promote skills, financial literacy, entrepreneurial knowledge, and functional literacy geared to sustainable economic independence among refugee youth in Kakuma. Equipping learners with practical business skills to strengthen their financial management and growth of small businesses owners through coaching sessions immersive learnings.

Loan and seed grant funding

These activities are transformative, promoting self-reliance, economic integration, and social cohesion for refugee youths and women. Loan and seed grant aim to support entrepreneurs with capital or resources or asset to start their trades.       

Saving and Lending money activities

The organization aim to empower participants to increase access and control over resources and use collective power to overcome social and financial barriers.

CASH ASSISTANCE EMPOWERS REFUGEES TO MEET BASIC NEEDS AND BUILD A BETTER FUTURE

Providing refugees with cash enables them to prioritize and fulfil their needs in a dignified manner and contributes to the local economy.
